I've had my fair share of television shows over the years, and here, I have listed down some of my top picks.

Gossip Girl follows the lives of the elite teenagers of the upper east side: Serena Van Der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively), Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester), Daniel Humphrey (played by Penn Badgley), Chuck Bass (played by Ed Westwick), Nate Archibald (played by Chace Crawford), Vanessa Abrams (played by Jessica Szohr) and Jenny Humphrey (played by Taylor Momsen). Gossip Girl is a gossip blog which seems to rule and ruin the lives of these teenagers.
Reasons to watch this show?
a. It's set in the lovely city of New York
b. Drama, romance, comedy, more drama, and more drama. (Who doesn't like drama amirite??)
c. You'll get major fashion envy

I can safely say that this is one of those t.v shows that keep me on the edge of my seat every episode. Each episode dawns a new problem, which surprisingly doesn't get old. You also have romance, which will either give you major feels or just leave you shaking your head. Don't be fooled though, it's not just a show about rich teens who just waste their money on everything. This show has taught me a numerous life lessons, which you'll definitely learn throughout the six seasons. This show is perfect for binge watching, or watching over time, cause either way, you'll get to watch these teenagers grow and mature into responsible adults.
That 70's Show follows the gang of six local teenagers: Donna (played by Laura Prepon) Jackie (played by Mila Kunis), Kelso (played by Ashton Kutcher), Fez (played by Wilmer Valderrama), Eric (played by Topher Grace) and Hyde (played by Danny Masterson).
This show is packed with humour that will definitely make your day. Between Fez's iconic one liners, and Eric's smart-ass answers, you can say this show is pretty quotable.

This show will definitely give you a major love for the 70's; all from the fashion to the sayings ( I personally started saying groovy because of this show). Romance is also a key factor in this show. (Did you know Mila Kunis' first kiss ever was with Ashton Kutcher? And that kiss also happened in this show, plus it was filmed. PLUS Mila Kunis now has a child with Ashton Kutcher. Craaazy right???)
If you ever need that one pick-me-up show after a reaaaally long day, this is the show just for that.
3. Supernatural
Supernatural is a mystery/thriller that follows the extraordinary lives of two brothers: Sam (played by Jared Padelecki), and Dean Winchester (played by Jensen Ackles).
The story line has changed a bit since the first season, but it's still has the same elements of mystery that we love. There are currently 11 seasons on this show (perfect for binge watching, js)

If you haven't watched this show, I bet you've seen gifs and memes of it.
Not only do you get to watch these two handsome men, but you also get a taste of comedy mixed in with some drama and you also get to learn about different myths and beliefs. Angels, demons, ghosts, shape-shifters, you name it. If you need one more reason to watch Supernatural, they have an amazing fandom too ;)
In Mckinley High, the school is divided into two: the Freaks, and the Geeks. The story follows the smart and sensible Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardelleni) and her involvement with the Freaks: Daniel Desario (James Franco), Nick Andopolis (Jason Segel), Ken Miller (Seth Rogen) and Kim Kelly (Busy Philipps). Lindsay's brother, Sam (John Francis Daley) and his best friends, Bill Haverchuck (Martin Starr) and Neal Schweiber (Samm Levine), are the geeks.
The show only ran for 1 season, but it had everything you could've asked for. This show has everything from good music (the show was set in 1980), witty comebacks, and state of the art facial expressions.

This show has humour, but it also has big life lessons we can all learn from. Teenage misfits from the 80's. What's not to love?
5. The Walking Dead
If you've never heard of this show, where have you been???
The Walking Dead is one of my personal favourite shows, ever. It's still on going as of now, with 6 seasons. The show, like the title suggests, is about dead walkers. The word 'zombie' is not to be used in association with this show. No. The correct term is walkers.
TWD is a drama series based on the comic book of the same name. The story revolves around the lives of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his family, and a group of other survivors following a zombie apocalypse.
This show is also pretty effin bad-ass, js.
If you're scared that this show will just end up getting old, fear not, for it won't. Heads up, though, cause you might feel a tad bit stressed while watching this, because some of the characters do make pretty awful decisions, and death is also inevitable. (you can blame the writers for that)
Beware of the long breaks between seasons, though. (Season 6 just ended, and it's currently April, now we have to wait till October for season 7) (And there are also breaks between seasons, it usually pauses in December and resumes on February).
Over-all, this show is just addicting. Trust me. Go watch it. Now.
